Business’s mission?

In my coaching, I am passionate about helping women boost their confidence, self-esteem and independence after breakups or toxic relationships. The two main ingredients that support my mission are self-love and writing therapy.

Where are your based? Where is your office?

I am based in London and currently enjoying the freedom of working from the coziest cafes around Chiswick.

Where are your clients based?

Most of my clients are UK based, but the members of my Facebook community The Impressive Women Squad are from all over the world, this is one of my favourite aspects of an online business.

Where are you now in the lifecycle of your business?

It is starting to move upwards now from the start-up phase, with my coaching practice having started in September 2017 and my book recently published in February 2018.

Where do you plan to be in five years time?

My vision for the next five years is to impact thousands of women’s lives, become an international speaker, write my second book, have my own studio by the sea where I can host my workshops and coaching sessions, get a Yoga instructor certificate and also launch my brand Impressivity in fashion.

What motivated you to start your business?

After finding myself searching on Google “what is the meaning of life” and going through a mental breakdown, I went into therapy and made it my mission to never allow anyone else get to that point of their lives. Writing had always been part of my life, I was blogging and sharing my stories and then I launched a story sharing platform for women to write about their relationships and breakups. This lead me into writing workshops and later on into coaching as a beautiful integration of my message and mission. Writing my book came naturally and now I just love combining coaching with therapeutic writing, as I know how powerful these two are for making an impact and transform my clients’ lives.

What have been your most difficult challenges so far?

Sorting out each and every step of self-publishing has been challenging, but overall great lessons came out of it and eventually meeting the deadline and actually holding the book in my hands made me extremely grateful for the entire journey.

What have been your biggest wins and most satisfying highs?

As a coach, getting feedback from clients who have breakthroughs and actually seeing their faces light up in my workshops make my heart fill with so much joy. Add to that all the generated buzz around my book, speaking on radio and on stages – and it’s celebration time every day!

How do you let off steam/relax?

I love dancing salsa! It’s fun and it’s a great workout too. Not to mention it has a lot to do with boosting my confidence. When I need to reconnect with myself in a more quiet way, I just get out somewhere in nature, shut down my phone, meditate and write. It always helps me reset my mood.

What are the most valuable tools you use to communicate with your clients?

I use social media – Facebook lives, Instagram and my Facebook community The Impressive Women Squad that amazes me every time with all the energy and support that the ladies bring to the table.

What’s your personal motto?

“A quitter never wins and a winner never quits” is Napoleon Hill’s quote that keeps me going every day.

Pick one person (male or female) who has inspired you most on your journey?

After my therapy sessions, I became so intrigued by the concept of happiness and I started looking for resources, books, videos, anything that would help me crack the code to happiness. And at that point I found an online course called “A Life Of Happiness and Fulfillment” from Dr. Raj Raghunathan. He was a great inspiration for me, I went through his course twice, I recommended it to all my friends, I read his book and then I had the honour of interviewing Dr. Raj for my book.

Pick one person who would be your dream business or life mentor?

Marie Forleo is one of my favourite mentors, she has such a beautiful energy and I find many similarities with her because she is multipassionate (her own word) just like me. Plus she has a great sense of style J

Why is being part of a membership organisation like The Goddess Formula (ie. creating a likeminded business support community) important to you?

Finding your community and your tribe is a crucial part of a business. As entrepreneurs, we tend to feel lonely sometimes, working from behind a computer and as much as we are engaging with our clients, we still need that support system to ask for help but also celebrate each others’ wins and that is why The Goddess Formula is such an awesome group! It just makes it so much easier to walk the path in our businesses when we are surrounded by likeminded people who motivate and inspire us. It’s the Formula to success!
